Life Is Starting Again…

So my life is starting up again. It’s been a very good, and actually a productive summer! I managed to write a whole EP so I am actually proud of myself. School starts Monday so six days left in heaven although I have to do my summer reading projects which I am not happy about. Oh well. You have to do what you have to do I suppose.

                  Saturday is my first day of recording. I’m nervous but excited. I am planning on pulling a secret all nighter tonight, for song revisions, and of course some of my English honors summer project. Isn’t it funny how life just sneaks up on you? It’s like a nip in the butt… Especially as a High School student. I truly hate that part of my youth. I’d prefer to be doing what is actually useful to me… Which is my music, and my career as a hair stylist, NEITHER of which actually require me to take honors OR A.P classes. Oh well (I find myself saying that quite a lot)

                                  I went to go see Julie & Julia. It was a great movie! If you wanna catch a flick any time soon,totally go to that one. It’s funny I was totally not stoked to go see that movie, because I was never a Julia Childs fan. I telly uo by the end of that movie I was!!! It showed her to be much more than a ditsy chef. I saw a bit of myself in her though… She had something about her in the sense that she was such a dark horse. She was dizzy, tall, and clutzy, but with sooo much talent. I hope I can prove myself with my talent, to be more than just an awkward little feminine boy. I truly do. Anyhow, I will continue posting, hope I can get more people interested and reading. Hello Online WOrld!

Hello World! My name is Robbie Carr and I am a singer songwriter from Florida. My current musical project is called AidanInJapan. I recently finished the writing process of my first ever EP and am now in the process of recording it. In the mean time, I want to document what’s happening and start a following using the internet and some gigs along the way! I am very excited to try getting somewhere with my music. It means everything to me for people to listen and give my music a chance. I have been writing music since I was 11 and have always loved doing it. It was funny how I came about doing it though. I didn’t sit down andsay “Okay I’m going to write a song today. I just played my guitar, and started singing. Everything in me that I had held in up to that point, was coming out in a big flow of words. I didn’t realize that’s how music actually came about at the time.

                             I was writing music for months before my parents realized what I was doing, and they were pretty shocked to hear their little elevan year old singing about what he was singing about. At the time, my music was about abuse, addictions, and suicide. It’s funny how my music has grown to be what it is today. Now I try to be positive with my music, and follow a more Indie Rock sort of sound. I can’t wait to get AidanInJapan going. I am going where ever my music takes me and I hope that you will help me go with it. I want the world to hear my sound and what I have to offer. I will have music up soon, most likely on a Facebook or Myspace page. I hope if you are reading this now, you keep up with what I’m doing. I suppose that’s it for now. Keep on keeping on guys!
